Starry Starry Night

Now, did you read the headline and immediately start singing the Don McLean Vincent song in your head - I did. I love that song. Beautiful ballad that was even more popular than American Pie. A tribute to the artist Vincent Van Gogh - but I digress.

I Love Lamp

I learned this weekend that Bubba and Mara have never seen one of my all-time favorite movies;

Anchorman the Legend of Ron Burgandy. So Jake and I instituted our own FreakBusters movie rental service.

Fabulous film with so many quotable lines. Here are just a few of my favorite:

Ron Burgundy: [to dog] You're so wise. You're like a miniature Buddha, covered in hair.

Veronica Corningstone: Oh Ron, there are literally thousands of other men that I should be with instead, but I am 72 percent sure that I love you.

Ron Burgundy: [to dog] What? You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole... wheel of cheese? How'd you do that? Heck, I'm not even mad; that's amazing. How 'bout we get you in your p.j.'s and we hit the hay.
